Cant agree more guys! Yep, it was hilarious! One of the first times I have planted a plane, and known I won't lose a second of sleep, cause it wasnt something like a component failure or a radio glitch or something uncontrollable. Just pushing the limits! Sooner or later, the limits hit back! LOL

If you can't walk away from a day like today with a laugh or a smile on your face, your in the wrong hobby!

I like that doug. A Western Cartel member looking out for the future plane of another. I had to laugh because doug said he brought cash back just in case the plane got damaged

Seriously, ask brodie how he straps planes down in his short wheel base trailer. That trailer can't ride well, but planes can never move an inch

Just topping off the batteries this eve. Starting to look like I can fly well over an hour between charges (Consuming less than 30% of capacity). If that's the case, I'll get the 25 Gal of break-in fuel flown through it yet this season.

So, if anyone want's to know what I really think of the 170CS. Ask me after it is fully broke-in.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Dale if you can do a full cycle with them and see what they hold as I never flew it last year. A cycle or two would be good for them and the peace of mind to know for sure how much capacity you have.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Doug, part of my plan. Evaluate both the consumption per flight. And then the state/age of the batteries. I can see myself flying this a lot.
My Sukhoi last year was so nice to get to a fun-fly. Fly 6 X 12 min flights per day. 18 flights each fun-fly. What a great feeling once the confidence is there. This Edge is as comfortable as anything I have flown to date.
Jeff and I are going out to Alberta's Littlest Airport Saturday. Fly some big birds. I already fixed the forecast. Not to hot, mild breeze, for the bigger birds. Going to be great!
