Brent... There was a guy that kept having dead sticks on landings and tried everything. We got messing around and decided to put a little copper gasket sealant between all the joints of carb, gaskets, reed block, etc... Problem cured and it ran like mint with a beautiful slow idle.. Turned out there was a slight air leak I guess. Have you tried that for $hits and giggles?

Tried Running a little rcgf 15 this Sunday and it wouldn't tune. You get the high set then get the low good. And if it would idle for 5 seconds it would die when you ran it up. We tweaked it back and forth nothing worked. Either an air leak or the carb is pooched. I found out later it had sat for a couple years lol. Gonna tear it down later and check it out. Cheap to buy a walbro that will fit so might just order one from amr if they have a small one.
