Whoa there it is. Civilized all day. Then out of no where a donkey kick to the nads. A quick poke to the eye. Power bomb wedgie. Throwing sand in the sand box. Just when we you start to show signs of a clear thinking individual you kick the hornets nest waiting for the outcome. Jack and Doug is not going to let this slide. It will take Doug sometime to respond because he is back on shift.

Poop disturbing will not get you nowhere.

Nothing wrong with old-school hype as long as it doesn't weigh a ton like a certain Brick116
Ouch there you go again picking on the 116. Good thing it's such a kick ass engine. I've never noticed the extra weight. Just took the auto choke feature off of mine so I can do it from the transmitter. I have to get a tach out next time I run it. Seemed to be turning a 30-10 pretty well.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

LOL!!! Too funny!! Glad we're all good sports . There was far too much agreement so had to poke the hornet's nest AGAIN

Phil... Sorry about the added 116 dig !! I figure since I'm part of the MVVS club I'm allowed to knock the obesity issue . I'm sure the 116 is a sweet motor, since Scott's 58 sure got our attention.

Excited to buy a DA240 and DA250FS some day.

I miss the ZDZ112... A real mistake. I also miss my 3W110cs - stupidity to let it go. However Still giddy over the GP61 and 123

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

You bet. I just got a gp61 and it is great. Look forward to picking up a gp123 one of these days. I have to stick up for the mvvs because like it I am slightly overweight but get me started and it can be a lot of fun.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Well our workload is kind of light right now. So to try and keep busy, I went out for an hour of airtime on the 3W 170CS. Work tomorrow, so no flying. Might as well rain a bit to, get that out of the way.

Arlene thinks some quality Bus time at a flying field is in order. I'm thinking BBQ steaks, and some sitting around watching Brodie flip his RCGF 17.

I was going to buy one of those a few years ago and then they were absorbed by Tower and that was the end.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Something pretty showed up while I was at work today. The new motor for my Pilot Extra 260.

Looks real good. Still trying to get used to DA engines coming in a foam fitted box instead of a bag in bubble wrap.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

If I had the cash I would buy the 111 in a heart beat Jeff. The government took a new 100cc setup back in taxes this year damit lol.

Doug it's good to see da keeping up with gp in the packaging department
