Now ya gone and done it! I'm sooooooooo confused!!!!

A 2 year old engine, hmmm, I'd want to personally fondle it before laying out cash!

Dale I doubt you'll ever find a EME170 for sale......!

You might want to take your tools and tear it down first before you start squeezing plugs!!

Brent, considering who's selling, I would say it's a good purchase!

Yep... Love the Mintor220!! My worst engine experience ever with the M60. Win a few, lose a few . The M60 ruined my track record of all my motors being flip'n'fly to date. So that makes me very sad.

But I'm very content that the little MVVS190 stomps on the Mintor

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I haven't bought so much as a RC battery since last August. All I know is what type of plane I want. Kind of looks like I might have to build a kit plane, 'cause I am too fussy! And frankly a box plane isn't going to be as competitive as I would like. I have a goal! Those that know me know......

The power plant is as confusing now as it was before this thread started. Seeing and hearing what engines are going from Canukistan to compete in the IMAC Worlds, I think it would be fair to say what is King in that game for 2014.

Now to keep pinchin' my pennies, keeping my eyes and ears open, with a little luck this winter I can......

EDIT: I hear ya Dale. Its kind of funny that they aren't more popular. As I have only flown box planes, and just saw what a couple kit built planes fly like, well its like day and night. Not that the way I fly would get the "all you can be" out of any airframe.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

So what is "King"?

An American hosted event will be dominated by Desert Aircraft.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Sounds like almost all the Canadian planes are sportin' DA.

Just to keep up with my DA issue, it now sits in Mississauga ON. Guess its takin' the other route to Tucson!!!!
