Well, you can't go wrong with a DA150.

The MVVS 190 is king!!

Brent, I've built 2 Cardens, had 3 Cardens and 1 Dalton built by another gent, and 2 Cardens built by Trevor.

Everyone one of those planes would put any ARF to shame...however with time seeming so ever precious anymore there are some dandy ARF's to get you started while you build your kit.

How's the crops coming along?

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Here is a guy that might throw in the towel on building!
This is the second one in a row that bit the dirt. Look for the other video in the line-up. Can anyone say major flutter?

Looks to me that the Red Bull quit flyin' when he turned to go with the wind.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Yep!! That plane is 43lbs and still floated awesome. The poor DA150 was working hard and not much room for error with the low thrust, but still my favorite DA of all time Guillaume had the ZDZ180 on pipes in this before and it was like twice the acceleration, LOL! The 180 is currently being fitted in his second 43% Carden 300

I watched those in longer versions the other day...I believe they were Hemple planes....some say it had a lot to do with the pilots' setups. After reading what he was doing I tend to agree.
