You would think that little EME35 has been in your shorts, as you drove around all winter, ha-ha.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

For those just tuning-in.

Most know, running engines is a part of my hobby.

For Jack, some just get "Whacked"

Many of us own, and fly EME35's (quite successfully).

Haha Dale. Michael is the new poster boy for EME. Told me yesterday that his 35 is the smoothest engine he has ever owned. Even mentioned that my DA can't idle so low. Must be the tuner. Stock carb I might add.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Very nice job Brad. I was out fighting mosquitos and flying. 4 flights, 2 on a Giant SS, and 2 on the Extra. So another 40+ minutes in the books without having to pull a wing off!!!!

I believe I found why I was not liking the Extra. My toughest class waaaaaay back in high-school! Geometry, especially on the elevator. But as its a mechanical linkage deal I can figure it out! The DLE is close to tuned (not bad for me huh) and my up-lines a not a battle any more!

Yes, that makes me laugh too.
Michael, a good engine is one that will give you service for a lifetime. In your case this may be asking a lot, of any motor!

Now, an old man like me, I would expect my 3W to out live me. Ha-ha.
