Read that again. Damn, that's good advice.

Wait until Brodie starts flying 100cc class. We will all be asked to go flying with him, all the time.
Brent you have a great running EME120. Your 1/2 way there.

Hope this helps.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

My 200L was a screamer. It was putting out better than the one Trev tested a few years back. It was turning a Mej 30x13 at close to 6600 on mufflers sustained static. It isnow in the hands of one of Canada's IMAC pilots and is going to the worlds.

LOL!! Doug - you're falling behind in the times!!! 6600 on a little Mej 30x13 is by no means a screamer. That's only a couple hundred more than a DA170.

I think it's time you ran some of the new motors out there.... your definition may change a bit, LOL

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Yes but the one you tested had to be on pipes to hit that.

Yep...wasn't impressive at all, even on pipes. But in the quad world, there are other options but issues with them all, so DA has the market - the Mintor220 has had reliability issues recently, the DLE222 seems to be an awesome motor but some have fear of Chint, the 3W220 is heavy (but so sweet), the MVVS190 is a monster but unproven still and the ZDZ224 is not readily available yet and warrantee on this side of the pond is questionable.

So credit to DA!!!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

There have been a few failures now with the latest version of the 222. Still much better than the first two attempts.
