CT 112.

There you go John, I'll back you on that one. Someone can be held responsible for that. And, it should cost them sales. Weather it be the manufacturer, or Canadian distributor.

Ok dale! But will anybody listen to the ravings of a sticker licker? LOL

Is the 88 the engine with all the DA internals.

It is my understanding. The DA rods were first discovered in the 88.

And, this thread was started by asking if I should open up my 176 to see if it had rods marked DA, as it was a very early one.

Yes my 88 has the crudely ground off DA marks!

Wow what a revelation! I kinda own a DA!
But it's not shinny! Bummer!
Maybe if I stroke it a lot like Jack does, it'll get shinny!
Nope, I'd rather just fly it!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

So go figure.
Chief now shows my Edge as the full priced one this week ($1599). And the other schemes are discounted.

I am so looking forward to flying both my 3W 157, and the 3W 170 this week-end.

Yep. Third day of it. Had some good hail this evening too! Tomorrow looks marginal too! But weekend is looking good!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

The plan here was to drive the bus out to Alberta's Littlest Airport. Insure a spot. The forecast is good.

And I am stocked. A few of us are going to fly 150cc+ most of the time.

Might even try and organise a BBQ contest. The "My wife can BBQ better than your wife" type of contest.

I had a tragedy on Sunday. My favorite slick died a warriors death!
It was pretty spectacular when you touch a wing in a low rolling harrier!
Wings stopped dead. Front third and back third of the plane kept spinning! LOL

So being on "the rebound", I bought a buddies used 100cc pilot edge! Couldn't resist! Just picked it up tonight!
Jack will be warming up his hammer again when hears it's got a sweet running ch$&t 111 up front!
Couldnt resist. I am sucker for ready to fly planes! Just gonna put a set of mks777 servos in all the surfaces and my jeti stuff. Might be able to get it flying this weekend!
