Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Well Dale... Had a close call with my little man's Kadet40 electric trainer last night.

He was coming in on approach and got a little low and flew it through some hydro lines... Somehow the plane made it through and the lines scraped off some of the monokote on the top of the wing and broke 2 ribs. It veered off course about 45 deg but I was able to take over and saved it.

He talked about his near-death experience the whole way home and just got up and is tellin Jen the whole event... Full description like he was in the plane!, ROTFLMAO

I liked when he showed his brother the damaged wing and said "can you beat that?". Should seen the look in dad's eyes!

Can't wait too see the look when trev has two junior Huckers! Gonna kill his build time fixing the mutually assured carnage!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Love it!

Caleb, my new line. (thank-you)

"Can you beat that"?

My old favorite was, "Hmm, wonder if the air bags deployed"?
Jack was the first one to hear that from me. (last year)

Well, today marks the first week that the DA50 has been at the shop. Not a peep from them. I imagine that this time of year the place is full to the rafters with engines needing attention.

Oh, I am looking forward to meeting all the kids, and families.

As for Caleb, & Jacob. Yes I can picture 2 Trevors in constant contest, ha-ha.

Lets not forget Josh, all part of the new generation. (make you guys the old men soon enough).

Well the weather is great, and I have the Bus out at the field. Came home to spend the last of the eve with Arlene.

I thought you only had one DA (?).

Got to go fly. Your rebuttal wins. (you have time, make it good)
