We just wanted to let know, your engine is a little homesick, but we are taking good care of it.
We gave it a bath in redline, and we buffed it up shinnier than ever! Its feeling right at home now!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Just one, some would say one too many! I was going to "Jackatize" it, but had several people state that DA would make it right. Well this is my test for DA. I'm old school, there will be no "Pity Pass"!

My understanding is that the issues with my engine came from poor parts, and a design issue. We'll see......

EDIT: Too funny John! I couldn't care less about "The Shine" I'm about function. And it sure didn't do that!!!!!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Well guys!... Just did flight #1 with the monster Mejzlik 30x10 on the GP123. Out of this worldd fun! I love that prop except I don't like the weight of it vs the Falcons - definitely affects the CG and makes it nose heavy.

EME120 on RE2 pipes - 5800
DA120 on RE2 pipes - 6050
3W110CS on RE2 pipes - 6150
.
.
.
GP123 on ES pipes - 6240 . And our testing has proven that as loads increase, the RE2 and Smoothpipes outperform the ES pipes bigtime. I wouldn't doubt on RE2's, this GP123 would be mid 6300's or more.

The M30x10 really unloads in the air... Eye-bleeding rippage on command, LOL!

So far Falcon 29x10 is my favorite. Gonna soon try the Falcon 29x9W!!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Okay Lorne... Just tried the F29x9W... By far my favorite props for this motor / combo. Crazy wild spool-up like the 29x9 but has crazy pull . Definitely the best 3D prop I've run!!!

The F29x10 or Mej 30x10 for general flying or IMAC!!!

The 29x9W was 150rpm less than the 29x9, but insane thrust difference and really nice feel / control.

So happy! Will try those JC props next! May just put the 30x10 Mej back on also

Having waaay too much fun! This usually means a crash is coming, LOL

LOL..to many damn prop choices. Perhaps the newer Mej and Falcon are a closer match for weight. glad to hear it works well. I always enjoyed it but never had it on pipes to give it the little bit extra.

Lorne, it seems Falcon is really getting it right with all the "W" props. I have the 25/8W and the 32/11W and love them as well.
