It burns me that they went ahead and repaired it then called me. I would have had them put it in the re-cycle bin. According to what they charged me, the parts were cheap. So I have a old engine (by the S/N) that has all new parts except the lower case.

NO MORE USED ENGINES! I'm 2 for 2 for duds. I won't touch another DA, EVER!
Brent,

NOT the engines fault. If it was low S/N it has to be old as DA has been making these things for years.

Ya I WON'T buy a used engine anymore unless I know the buyer, although I have had really good luck in the past without a single dud except for a Revolution 58 I bought. How does the prop nut cross threaded from simply trying to unbolt the prop to change it?

$120 for a new crank then i sold the darn thing.

DA and 3W for me!

The young ones are still working 65hrs a week. Old types not so much.

There used to be a 53 mile cross country from Rimby-Rocky Mountain House. Our Camrose Modellers hosted a 44 mile course in the early 90's. I did use a header tank set-up back then, 16 over 32 oz. Worked well.

I think there might have been a few retarded people, a few retired and a few still working. It was an amazing experience. This funfly was the 35th year for this particular club. I am only guessing but 25-35 campers where present and the whole venue was first class. Can't ask for any better hospitality.
