No one has done the Beta testing. But everyboidy will ask how it works.

Dale, don't listen to any of these guys! Follow your own advice and listen to what your 3W telemetry system is saying! "Dale, two tanks are cooler than one!"

Please make sure you record the two bottle maiden!

If it doesn't work out, I expect to see jack walk up to the wreckage and beat those twin bottles to death as well as your 3W telemetry for suggesting it!

How'd the garage sale go today Brent?

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I'm loving the 3W's
I wouldn't change a thing. Well until SukTwo is trimmed/tuned, and forty flights on it. Then the 170 gets RE3's. Possibly a fuel cell upgrade if this works (at-all).

I can't wait for Jack. As we meet annually (now) at Drayton Valley. I will be doing my Beta testing out at A.L.A.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

John you are right.

Two tanks "ARE" cooler than only one.
Thank-you for pointing that out. Damn I'm feeling rather clever right now.

Dale,
I hear a lot of RE-3 's being mentioned for your engines. What about PB Smooth Pipes ?????
The are right there where you fly.........

Brad, when we heard the news they were coming. It was hopefully by mid Dec, then Christmas. Jeff had a sale on, and stock Dec 28th so I bought. Then the news was mid Jan, etc. I think they finally arrived in March. I could see everyone waiting for the large smooth pipes, then they would go fast. Followed by all the RE3's being sold out ahead of them. I have a second set sitting here for myself. The first pair I bought used for $125. Couldn't pass that up!
Now the latest are the No-Name pipes. Where do we stop, or start. However you look at it.
There was nothing wrong with Andy's Edge with the same ZDZ 160 RV-J on RE3's. In my books.

I'm easy to please. Second place at the finish line beats the best qualifying time.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Good points

And yes... Andy's zdz 160 on RE-3 's was an animal

BUT !!!!!!

His ZDZ 90 on a large smooth pipe is an absolute BEAST !!!!!!

I could only imagine what the 160 or 180 would be capable of on the large smooth pipes

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I have a 33% Sukhoi (Hanger 9), ZDZ90/RE3. very impressive. Good enough to put it all back together this winter, ha-ha.

SukTwo should be about the same weight as Andy's was 39lbs. My first Sukhoi was under 39. So this won't be over 41lbs 0oz.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Here we go again!! Dale... RE3's are so 1980's . Lorne and Brodie and I think Dan-O are running latest technology... I think they need to have a little intervention with you since Suhk-2 should have the best of the best

If you were in the East, we'd be taking you out for dinner and not letting you leave until you got with the times! Sheesh
