You are still in the garage? I thought you were going flying.

What is "it"?

Not Hype Dale!!... Testing!!! The E.M. has a ton of the newest 60cc birds in operation and the boys are swapping/buying/selling quicker than ever. The new 3DHS Yak55M looks promising. The 3DHS Edges are awesome. The Aeroplus Edge and Extra are also great. Pilot's Edge is still a favorite of mine. Etc, etc. The Bigfoot is also in there, but hanging by a thread - was moderately impressed, although has some neat qualities about it.

But I'm not rushing into this - I want to see how each of these fair out and will make a decision. If something new comes out before I pull the trigger, I may just try it

Cutting Edge is the only place to be

Oh - one other thing!!... I saw my first EME35 run the other day (with the Chint carb)... ran absolutely flawless, very smooth, very even throttle response and loads of power. Pretty impressive how these 35cc are basically DA50 power now!! It was running on a pitts muffler and the sound was great to my surprise.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

The EME 35 on my little guys pilot trainer is a smooth little power house. It is really too fast with a 19x10 for training. I did purchase a 20x6 but haven't tried it yet. The CHINT carb works good too.

To compare it to a DA 50 is a stretch. Is there a new EM classification? 35-50 cc. That would fit in with the 80-120cc and 150-180cc. Sorry I had to give a little poke Trevor.

LOL!! It was a bit of a figure of speech I used!!. The 35cc's are nipping at the heals of the DA50 - some impressive advancement in the engine world. Quite the little powerplant for sure. My little guy has been running a RCGF-32 for a year and a half and the EME35 is like twice the engine (another figure of speech - don't beat me up ) - no comparison in power, smoothness and sound.

You must fly really close to yourself or do too much ground tuning in order to get the beautiful smell of burnt fuel stuck to you. My wife likes the smell of race fuel (c-12) but gets pretty ignorant about the smell of pump gas too.
