Fresh out of 50cc airframes. Only reason I am opening the box from DA is to see the paperwork. The next owner can break it in on the oil of his/her choice....

If ya hear howling from my direction, it'll be me dealing with a payment to Canada Customs. The way this whole experience has gone, my bet is that DA shipped it back as service work....... NEVER AGAIN!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Crap.. Sorry Brent for asking if it was going back in the same plane... I didn't realize the AW had a crash must have missed that somewhere. Wasn't trying to put salt on an open wound

I went back and editted my post, but too late

Bummer news about the Canada Customs charges also.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Of all the ARFs out there it appears the 50cc sized stuff has taken the biggest jump in price in the past year, or am I out-to-lunch? Most of my used servos (mostly Savox) are too big (dimension and torque) for 30cc planes and too small (torque) for 100cc planes.

Great Hobbies doesn't seem to carry any 50cc stock in Edmonton, everything is shipped from back East. AMR is the other option, but, even if they're having their "Free Shipping" sale once it hits Sk. there is a flat rate of $75 to get your package (+ 100 mile round trip to the closest Bus depot).

Have a sister and brother-in-law in Az. Might get him to do my shopping...... Down that way it seems a 40% plane is the disposable unit!!!

Has Lorne anything you're interested in?

I've bought a couple from him, 1 50cc size and it's a wicked flying plane....but of course it's powered with the electric feel of the DA 70!!

Fairly reasonable. ($550)

Why are your servo's to powerful for 30cc airframes?

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I agree.

Lorne has some nice stuff.

The Aeroplus line are nice planes. The Edge, Extra or Corvus are nice planes.
I have the 60 cc Edge. Its awesome. A buddy has the Extra. I have flown it. Nice bird as well.

The Aeroplus line are good planes at a good price .
