That set-up must be close the the weight of an MVVS or 3W. At least it's useful weight.......

LOL Brad, guess it's how you perceive "useful weight". I'll take mine in the engine, not as an add-on!

Durability has never been favourable for those that whittle it out!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Only 2 more get-up's until the FishFly-FunFly.
I don't even know what BansheeBoy is building this week (with used guts). But it will be flying on the Week-end!

-Dale-

With any luck I will have it ready for the weekend. With "used guts". Punched a long day yesterday from 2:30am -11:00pm. A recheck of work will be required after work today. Had some serious multi tasking happening yesterday. Epoxy drying, an iron and a heat gun in each hand. If I don't have to work late tonight I should be able to pull it off. My dear wife will be surprised (mad) when I pull it out of the truck for the maidan. I will confess of the purchase when it is ready to fly. Lol.

LOL!!! Still wish we would have adjusted the timing before that flight instead of after. Never had that ping since.

By the way - that ZDZ180 is still running mint after countless gallons. We got to see it in action recently and wow - a monster. If you saw the beating that Rob lays on that motor on a consistent basis you'd never buy any other motor again.

Dale is a very, very smart guy... has 2 of the best engines in the world - ZDZ160 and ZDZ180 now.
