The mej was a 24-10. Hype is a 24-9. The hype is very light. balance was good. Spool up is quick, half throttle hover with good pull out. Was having too much fun to tach it. Will do tomorrow if I take it out. Just got a replacement ignition for my 3w so it may be going out in the morning. So no numbers yet just hype. Seems appropriate. Haha. I will dig out my fish scales and see what the thrust is.

Yep I'm pretty happy. Did a little tweaking while the cowl was off. The eme is way lighter than my brick. Was pulling steady on the good side of 7100 and no sagging. The pull was 28lbs. I think its pretty good. Been reading that as they break in a couple more hundered rpm is possible. I think it could handle the mej24-10 but I don't want to trade off the fast spool up. Had four great flights with it this morning. Hype pipes sound great. Good combo.

Sounds like a good club to be in. One down fall is all the moving of equipement I am doing because of the light weight eme. I just wrapped a couple large bolts in foam and jammed in the nose for the test flight. I'm kicking myself for not picking up another hype pipe and header for my mvvs 58. Would like to see how it wakes up. I thought the aeroplus edge was light already. getting lighter.
