I'm still working up to 2014 Basic.
The Edge has 118 flights on it Doug. Expect another 6 Sunday.

Enjoy your week-end.

An IMAC contest in Bawlf would be a great thing and we might be able to restart interest in IMAC in the Edmonton area....

Yes, congratulations.

Last year a few of you guy's were up to Bawlf doing some IMAC flying. Hope this happens next year. I would love to join in.
Arlene and I are starting our fall holidays (today). Won't be flying much after this week-end. Might drive home to snow.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

If we set up an IMAC contest in the Camrose area how many guys from around there would be interested (any class but especially Basic)? I'm pretty sure we could get a lot of the Calgary area fliers up there. I've never been to the Trout Farm but I know that the "Littlest Airport" in Bawlf is more than suitable for an event of this type.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Great idea Gordon, I will ask around at our Surprise FunFly this week-end. Are you thinking of an un-official event yet this fall?
Yes, Bawlf would be great. I should send off a couple of e-mails as well.
I think I will need to chat with you. This is a good idea. Shame it is a little late for the campers though.

Add, Bawlf is not noise sensitive. I had a good conversation with Reg on this very subject this summer.
Just no internal combustion before 8am. Farming community.

No, I was thinking of a regular IMAC contest some time next spring/summer. If there is the interest we could arrange for an earlier IMAC bootcamp/judging seminar as well. I would be happy to CD the event to get things going and with the help of a local guy (hint, hint LOL) we could have a great event. Ask around about the interest level and let me know. PM me if you need my e-mail address.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Yes, I sure will ask around. We can work on this over the building season.

Years ago, I planted the idea of a glider contest. Our club members all joined in, building gliders over the winter. The Calgary contingent came up, what a great time. Hosted another contest the following year. Where I'm going is there is a strong club/group spirit around here. IMAC Basic would be quite easy, with all the interest in gas here, and east. Oh yeah, and Stettler. (joke for Randy).

Hear that Pop-Top (Brodie), you could be an IMAC star.

There is your laugh this afternoon Jeff.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Dale you have more flights on the Edge than I have flown this year. Hasn't turned out to be a good year at all. Too many things in my life keep getting in the way. This has to change.
