Brent,

How about John Deer vs I.H.?

One of the best bumper stickers I've seen in a while was down in Tennesee a couple of years ago on an older I.H. Scout........

CROPS ARE GREEN!
TRACTORS ARE RED!

Two pearls of wisdom from Jimmy and the sun isn't even up yet, whoa! Your not an engineer the Case-IH are ya? Heres a thought for today: How many engineers does it take to grease a combine?

Two, if ya put 'em through reeeeeeaaaaaal slow!

On a more serious note, there are some really good points made here on this thread. Seems these Toy airplane engines have a pretty good track record. Not a single guy has cratered one beyond repair.

That's easy..... NONE!

You'll NEVER see an engineer get his hands dirty!

Brent,

HOW dare you call me an Engineer!

That's like calling a Non-Com an Officer!

I'm a TECH and like a Non-Com, we WORK for our money!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Also, they are very dear to us (engines). Not one has meet the "Crusher", or landed in the "Smelter".
Some I have enjoyed so much that I have tried planting them. Poor results, must be out of seeding season.
(O.K. Bradley, your turn to post an appropriate photo)

LMAO You didn't even feel the hook go in did ya?

Never got an answer before, so I'll ask again. How far away are we from EFI engines for our planes?

Type in ZDZ160 Fuel injection.

Also the Unlimited R/C racers (?) are running fuel injection. One of the engine, or two are marketing commercially available ones.

Yeah but the USRA guys are running alcohol and glow plugs. Not gasoline.
