20x7 seems to be the going rate. Did you guys use the same prop during break in?

yes, the 20x7 is a great prop for 3d. If you need to slow down more a 20x6 works but watch the top end revs

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Jack.. I'd say stick with the 3dHS Yak55 for the 70twin. Such a sweet airframe and knowing how mine flies with the GP61 on can, I'm sure it'll handle the extra 1/2 of fat of the 70 with ease!!

This airframe really dampens any vibes of the 61 so I bet it is a butter-smooth combo with the 70.

I lost a wing the other day on my 3DHS Yak doing a poptop and it did a sweet inverted flat spin landing, LOL! Luckily I had a spare airframe NIB and it'll be ready for maiden tomorrow night. Only plane I've ever bought a spare of.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

LOL!! Yep - 4th flight, wingbolt came out and wingspan grew by 8" on the left side and stopped becuase of a tight servo lead. Problem was when the wing rotated 90deg on the tube, LOL! Makes for a sweet inverted spin

That's what I wanted to hear. I have said the same. No 50cc plane I've had can equal that Yak.
