I think this is why we are called gear heads. I think all engines should come with the gaskets in a separate box. Some assembly required so we can have a look inside.

Remaiden video please. !
Hanes, thank-you for the kind words.
As for a re-maiden video, well not my thing. I wouldn't mind a video after I get it balanced, set-up to my liking. Maiden, or re-maiden video's are usually boring. I should take some of that back. Dan-O can be well worth the trip out to watch in person.
I do like your reference to a bucket list. I don't expect to put it much in harms way. I do, however expect it to get flown a lot (next year and on).

Through this out:
Might anyone have a new style ignition for a 3W twin (4 wire) for sale?

I will be starting a wanted add. I have one here to finish off the season. But, will need one before spring. So, ordering new will haven should this fail.

I understand. At least assembled. With, a full set of gaskets. Some are weak. Some are cheep, and will look to sell the spare set.

Trevor, funny you should mention "your Bucket list". As that is what we are doing this week. Then one, or two more weeks after our quick return home for some Monday/Tuesday appointments.
Yes, I see myself enjoying it. Much more than the mental image I have of Mr. Potatohead, poptopping a 3DHS with a CT 111.
Nothing wrong with it Brodie. Just an aging thing. I see my peers are in the same boat.

Well we landed in Medicine Hat. Quick 2hr drive today. Go find something to do in this beautiful weather.

P.S. 2 minutes, hmm.
Take a drive out to cypris hills iv heard it's quite nice

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Thank-you Brodie. I was there 30 some years ago. Not as nice in my memory as what we seen yesterday in Waterton Lakes National Park.

So, today's funny:
I bought a 6 pack of Iced Tea (fuel cells).
Arlene looks at me and say's. Now you have enough for 3 airplanes. The look on her face, "what did I just say"? Ha-ha.

Well boy's no three new airframes this winter. I really have no big desires for the building season this year.
Granted I hope to re-assemble the Comp ARF, and get a few flights this fall. Then nothing striking out at me.

What are you guy's dreaming of?
