Trevor, I guess not a good day to get a true comparison to the 190 setup?

Congrats on the re-time!

Well sorta! It was soo windy that I really couldn't tell a difference with 3.5lbs less. But for power, the MVVS190 is clearly stronger if I prop it with a 2-blade like the 30x13W or 32x12. It's stronger on the low-end.

The 190 is also so refined - both sound and smoothness.

But the 176 is actually a bit better match for this weight - not quite the power. The only way I can make the 190 awesome down low on such a lite plane is with a 3-blade and then thrust suffers . If I was dealing with 50lbs, I'd take the 190.

Pro's and Cons to both. But I think the 176evo is better suited for this combo.

Sweet!! Glad it's working good for you. I also did an engine swap today. I took the evolution 46 off my alpha trainer and put on an os95 two stroke. Should be a hover king now lol. Too windy to try it today

Comparisons are so hard unless a person has every option available. For me I'd have to leave the quad in, but I guess that's why we have options for our preferences!

The 95AX has to be one of the sweetest glow engines ever. I have two of them.
