LOL!! That's awesome!!

When Yamaha came out with the 4-stroke snowmobiles and we converted, that was the biggest disappointment after a long day on the trails... No more smelling like 2-stroke

But it did allow us to get the hot selection on the menus while the Skidoo wingnuts had to de-gunk their Rave valves

Rick - in the IMAC circuit there are are bunch of guys trying to move up to the coveted 200. Means great deals for the rest of us on good used 150's

Bill, a perfect example of an IMAC set-up Hanger 9 3.1M Sukhoi, and a DA-150/RE3's. I suggested that to Eye Can Fly. Hope he goes with it. Great combination.
Funny how you caught these few posts so quickly. Nice to see eastern interest, other than Trevor, and the Twins.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Jeff is on his way south, just got off the phone with him after talking for almost an hour. He had to hang up as Amy had called 4 times while we were talking and he figured if he didn't answer soon she would have the RCMP out hunting for him.

I thought he got ride of the ankle transmitter.
(joke)
So, I can expect a call soon from him. Now we have something to talk about. Desert Aircraft. He likes them to.

Dale - as you know I have been flying the DA150 in the Sukhoi with RE3's for most of the summer. Has got me through 5 contests including the World's and brought home a few plaques for 1st and 2nd place. Solid performer and it starts and runs when I need it to in a contest environment. Pulls the Sukhoi with a Falcon 30x13 with good sound scores. No complaints here.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

[QUOTE=Dale Hunter;1964002]First let me share. In a PM today our friend Doug is in good spirits and on the mend.
Take care of yourself our friend. Maybe take an electric out first. No hard flipping.

Well Jack sent my DA-120 in for a check-up. Received a call from Jeff at Desert Aircraft. They updated the crankshaft, I think even the pistons/cylinders. No charge. In conversation he complimented me on my patience. Stating so many are grounded while there engines are sent away. I ensured him that was not my case here. Actually I explained how I tried to wear out a GP-123 for the remainder of the season. We both chuckled.
I explained I bought it from WingBurner, his reply, Jack. Wow that was a nice touch I thought.

Well at least the cylinders weren't pink!!

Glad they fixed it up Dale and free too boot. Where's Brent? He needs to read this!

Now as far as Jeff knowing who wingburner is...I'm not buying it! But I'll still buy another shiny!!
