Did the prop manufacturer offer to repair your parts? After all it was the Prop that sheered the bolts, correct.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

LOL!! Ya - quite a mess. Worst part was the loss of that sweet 30x13W. It was working so well on that combo. Before I replace the 30x13W, I'll try it next with the 32x11W which is sitting here lonely and Brad really liked it on his 176evo.

Definitely will have new Gr12.9 bolts!! Add in the TruTurn spinner cone and it was an expensive day, LOL.

I don't think you will like the 32. But let us know what you think

Thank-you for sharing. This helps justify the purchase of 100 - 12.9 grade, 5mm bolt this fall. Next is a torque wrench for props, in my ever growing stock of support equipment.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I had a chance before the prop bolt issue to get a good feel of the new set-up with no wind. The 3.5lbs is definitely noticeable down low, so very impressed. On the downside, it doesn't have the pull of the 190 quad and I'm back into the world of vibrations Pros and Cons to both set-ups.
