22 years ago. The power crowd used to tease me. Gliders are for wieners, ha-ha.
Truth be known, nothing has changed. They are a blast.

Hey you fly today? Hope not. you have all week to get some flying in.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

No I am going to lay low all week and let myself heal. That will give me time to finish off an AW Sport Cub that has been laying around for over a year and then I am going to pull out a 4*120 kit to build.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

As for the gliders I want one. That is how I first learned to fly in 72-75 in Cold Lake. I think a large scale RC one would suit me just fine. Not sure if soaring will be any good up here though.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Took the Eagle up today for the first flight at Drayton Valley field but on landing the gear retracted uncontrollably. So some wood, Thin CA, Medium CA, Thick CA & packing tape should be like new again. Not going to use my spare kit until I really canít get it into the air anymore.

It will fly like a dream. Lift every where. I like doing Tug duty. We can get together do some towing.
4*120, great flying airframe. I often think of doing yet another one. I do have an MVVS 26 with no ride, Hmm.
