By then the box of airframes was the Nemisis. I couldn't afford the carnage. My very first airframe was a Lil'Satin. man did I re-build that one a lot. Then a dozen more.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Lorne sent me a new front dump Hype Can to try on my GP61. I'm currently running a KS rear dump can and the GP61 spins the Falcon 25x8w with ease. It also unloads quite well.

Lorne said the rear dump Hype Can is working great but no experience with the front dump.

I hope to get out this weekend.

I'll compare the rpm profiles from my telemetry and report back.

I fondled some Pro-RC Hype accessories. They seem to be of good quality.

Move over Brodie. Jack is making a run to get his picture on the wall.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Jack chose his words carefully there... "they seem to be of good quality" ROTFL

So far we (Brad, Andy, myself) are very impressed with the Hype Pipes... sturdy units, awesome performance and surpisingly very quiet. They have run on an EME60, GP61 and GP123 so far. I've tried my very hardest on the 123 to get them glowing-hot and they have stood up so far.

As for the cans, this will be my first experience with them. A bit heavier than the KS Can, but they won't dent/crumple like the KS. The only thing I'm not super fond of is that the inlet is at the top of the can vs the KS where the inlet is in the middle. A minor detail for set-up but might make a difference for design/performance, so tough to complain about it. The outlet is nice and big, so I'm hoping that's an indication that they will breathe good, LOL.
