It is apart now and looks like the wrist pin retainer clip broke and scored the cylinder and piston and ring. The bottom end is fine. This has happened to a few of the first run of 61's (mine is #003) before GP Went to a new clip. I never changed the clip with the new design because I figured at this much fuel, it never would fail. Looks like I was wrong,

Good news is I called Lorne and he had the replacement parts under warrantee and they are already in the mail. Insane service. I'll be flying by Tuesday which is fine since it is supposed to rain through till Wednesday
Sorry your #003 failed. I have a new style piston, cylinder, wrist pin, retainer clips, ring, and upper con rod bearing on the way

It'd be a stretch for me to see anything by Tuesday if ordered today. Perhaps warranty items go express post!

Not complaining Lorne, just wondering how....The last Yak that came UPS I believe was 4 or 5 days! Out of your control, so no worries.....

I just can't believe something will get to Burlington that quick!

Oh that. I think it's a government conspiracy. Everything going to Ontario must be 2 day service
The funny thing is most things going to Calgary is next day service
Beaverlodge must be the black hole for RC packages

Two guys in their mid-twenties sitting at a bar having a beer. One of the guys Says to his buddy, "Man you really look tired." >>>> >>>> >>>> His buddy says,"Dude I'm exhausted. My girlfriend wants sex all the time, three or four times a night every night. She wakes me up at all hours, I just don't know what to do." >>>> >>>> A fellow about 65, sitting a couple of stools down overheard the conversation. He looked over at the two young men and with the wisdom of years says, >>>> >>>> "Marry her. That'll put a stop to that ----".
