I知 on vacation for a week & somehow have 2 new builds on the go, it is like I知 possessed by Aeroworks, AeroPlus or 3DHS.

Anyway All, let us not forget to take a moment tomorrow to remember how we got our freedom, I知 proud that my Dad was part of it, sure miss him!!

Indeed Peter, tomorrow is not just a holiday.....it is an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifice of our past and present members of the forces. I will proudly don my uniform, and my son, and his squadron will march in the Beaumont parade.

I thought i'd post some pictures of the GP61 retainer clip failure. I'll post pictures of the revised design after the first batch. Mine being #003 I should have changed them out.

Picture the acceleration and deceleration that caused the clip to flex at the sharp bend and eventually breaks off due to fatigue.

The chunk gouged the cylinder, piston and broke the ring

I flushed out the crank and everything is mint. Beautiful internals.

Lorne has a new cylinder, piston, ring, revised clips and upper bearing en route under warrantee. to Lorne and Fergie
