I see Matt did not incorporate a nice small skid plate on the top portion of the rudder for you Dan. Is this your winter flyer Dan?

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

As I get more builds under my belt, some changes in how I rig things up have changed. One is the use of wire keeps instead of zip ties, so in the event of a mishap/crash the wires will release & not pull apart. The other thing is short 10mm extensions from the receiver for the ailerons thus not fighting to plug or unplug. Just my thoughts!

You bet Dan, using EC5 Bullet connectors for all the planes, the helicopters, that is a different story, Anderson Power-poles & Deans for the smaller ones (EC3 for Quadcopter).

Hoping to see a VPP prototype in the new year for some giant scale 4D flying

That looks like something I seen on Lorne's counter when I picked up my Yak & Corvus. That motor is very large!

Pete

PS: Might need to change the thread to "The never ending engine/motor thread, East-West"

I see a mini crusher in the pic???

I remember the guy that bought your huge Yak was going to go electric. Unfortunately it never materialized. I would've loved to have seen that. I watched his 35% Comp Extra on electric, I thought it was good, he didn't like it.

What's this going in Trevor? I have always wanted to try a large electric!
