Jack... not sure if you've ever heard of these, but I've got them in all but a couple of my planes.

You use a 3S Lipo for power in and then you can set each bank of ports to a different voltage. Also has a soft switch. A pretty good price, compact size and light and great current abilities. Best of all, regardless of the state of you battery, the power output is always the same to your servos.

My favorite feature is being able to set 1 bank of ports at say 6V or 6.6V and the other at 8.4V so you can mix and match HV and non-HV servos as required.

Most of this can be found in the SmartFly and Powerbox systems, but this ReactorHVX is a good price and much more compact and in a nice AL case.

Trevor.... So what your ad saying is that my stock pile of nicads are just added weight? What about my 50cc extra running HV Servo's off 3- 7 cell hump style rc car packs. Is there new technology that will allow me to save a few grams from what my set up is now?
