Ken, did you not already have a ZDZ 180 RV-J?
Is this a second one? If so what is it intended to fly in?
Is the Carden Gordon is building this winter yours?

Only 1/5 scale.
Vailley Hawker Hurricane. 92 inch span.
for this winter...... I have a short kit and plans here.

For next winter I have been thinking about the 1/4 scale Mick Reeves Hurricane at 104 inches.
again with a 4 stroke. But an in line twin for that one.
getting into bigger dollar motors. Need time to plan and save.

Also have a zirolli 101 inch Mitchell short kit here. Been pondering that one as well.

Building aerobatic planes is fun. But with the ARF'S available today. Not worth doing those as much.......

Ok, the ball is all tee'd up

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Wow... what a banter tonight!! I was immersed in a couple F18's in the shop and lost track of time, LOL.

Love that new 180 It already was the top of the class... now it's the top and the shiniest, LOL However in order to qualify it to the Brick FlyIn, one will have to add a couple pounds of lead to compete with the 3W170 and MVVS175 Porkchops
