Don't worry about that dan. Taking into account the average time you own a plane that should only be three brown streaks

Four streaks. Three down the strip and the last one his drawers. Takes 3 flights to attempt inverted worm burners. Lol.

Just curious!!
Because my experience level is low I follow the manufacturers suggestion, hope it will leave the ground & stay up until the necessary planed landing.

Ohh that's why I never noticed. The left stick is always to the top.

ROTFL!!!!

Lorne... I balance mine like your method... hands off inverted level flight. I used to always balance hands off inverted 45deg upline however Jack Marcotte got me onto going a bit more tail heavy and it has helped my ham-fisted 3D, LOL!!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

The nicest flying plane I have is my Pilot 260 and that is how it is balanced. Hands off inverted. It also does KE with no mix programmed in as the amount needed is so small it would be a waste of time programming it in.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Wouldn't CG the depend a bit on the pilots ability to be able to know what to do in the "oh crap" situation? I set up the plane close to the manufacturers specs, then tune to taste (for me a wee bit of up stick on a 45 degree inverted line) after the maiden. Will never forget my first gas powered flight, hammered home the ole rule about the one tail heavy maiden.

But then again, I only had cheap planes.
