Thank-you Bradley.
Truth be known, I love the way I handle my fuel, and systems. Not a leak, or fuel problem at all this season.
This was the best season yet for me. (less one meat try(Ron)).

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

As a poor sucker that has to haul every drop of water we consume, I have learned a little about how hydraulic forces work. A half full tank of anything (water, gas....) creates a huge amount of inertia. My Dad rolled a 3 ton truck in the middle of the yard backing up when a splash board crumbled....

Here is another observation on the fuel tank in that video. The vibration has quite a bit of the fuel airborn in the tank. We isolate our sensitive components in the fuse, yet we tend to overlook the fuel tank. Nothing worse than a fuel tank coming loose in flight.... so here is a good idea for someone with the time and talent to build a nicely vibration isolated fuel tank mount!

I secure my tanks by the neck. A loose tank is also a big fear of mine.

Dale - is the poor beagle resting or intoxicated from the fumes ? Too much egg nog ?

Ever had those blue caps crack over time from exposure to gas ? I saw that reported somewhere else. Apparently they can develop radiating cracks but that has to be a function of how tight they are and the brass tubes passing through them along with gasoline exposure. Have no experience with them as I use those PSP bling caps. Just hate gas getting free in foam bottom planes - eats the heck out of the foam.
