scott, what does your 58 weigh? I just weighed the pro-sport in the store 1.76 kg no spark plug. Do they still weigh the same?

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I have a Biela 28X12X3 Prop (new not drilled), Drill guide and a DA150 engine (for parts) available. Done with planes this size, especially if TC is going to limit RC flight to Class "G" airspace. (See Classifieds)

PM for details.

Trailer can go too.

TC doesn't regulate RC (Unless used for commercial use) so what are you worried about?

They make a 3W look like a light weight engine.

isn't Saskatchewan ALL Class G airspace under 12,500'? (oops, forgot about Regina and Saskatoon!)

LOL!! Lorne... I think Scott measured it for the Engine Weight thread... 4lbs exactly. So just shy of DA85 weight, LOL.

But it's a great running motor like any of the MVVS I've seen. I also had a MVVS 41cc (or 43cc... whatever) years ago and ran it for 2 seasons and boy oh boy it was a sweet running motor.

I just wish the Engineers would throw one other design consideration into the fray...

Yeah, that's what I thought for my location. And I'm far enough away from the Trudeau Airport which probably gets less than 100 flights a year....

Planes larger than 35% just don't fit well into my runway. Wish I had more room (kind of ironic considering all Sk has is room) for semi-permanent runway(s).

Trevor, thanks for the advice on the rhum (spelled Rum out our way) but I had to give up "Squirrel Juice" 23 years ago. Discovered a few years ago I didn't really have a drinkin' problem, had that part down pat, I had STOPPIN' issues!
