I started at the factory recomended spot, Then I just kept moving the battery back until I got it where I like it.

I usually end up about 1/4" behind wing tube so I am close. I was just curious......how far did you move your battery?

Nope but the edge is done......came out to 17.25 lbs no fuel no side force generators

but Does, or has, anyone run an auto-start system on their engines?

insurance, or wasteage?

Not sure if it adds insurance. If an engine quits, it's usually at one of the worst possible places.... Murphey's law
A restart usually isn't possible anyway LOL
But it is a cool feature at the flight line

I sell them but they add a lot of weight. I would only use one if you need a lot of weight up front
