Scott, being the Large engine forum. There are many types of airframes that lend themselves to remote start engines. As not every modeller assembles, and enjoys these 3D yo-yo "Im lighter than you" airframes.
I have seen remote start engines used in float planes, where they are a real assest. I have seen video's of flight line start-ups, big on "Cool" factor.

So, I say it is not wastage, and has an application. Hope you try one out. Let us know how you enjoy it, if you do.

Yes, the Moki must have been like a Kid in a Candy store. Wait that is exactly what it was. And, I'm just like most when it comes to toy airplanes.
