Okay... that's weird... Jack - when you did a multi quote, it looks like it was me posting this. For the record that was DanO, LOL. I've never had that problem

My old Aeroworks edge flies so good bit I can't get enough weight up front with my light hype motors so I was thinking of trying that 3w or dla128. Man am I a sucker for punishment putting those two engines in the same sentence

But Dan... the Brick 116 can swing a huge 30x13, LOL. That way when you are hovering with that heavyweight and that huge prop on your 32lb plane, it'll torque at 760deg/sec, LOL.

Had to keep that clear for the record, LOL. If Dale ever got a hold of that and thought that was me, he'd never let me forget it

haha, easy on the girl, she is not 32 pounds. Have you guys ran inline twins? advantages/disadvantages? I am guessing a little work to mount them on our style of planes, more meant for warbirds?

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Advantages... Runs smooth, Fires 1-2. 180 degrees off. Sounds cool.

Disadvantages... A little more work baffling the rear cylinder for adequate air flow and cooling.
The motor is much longer than a horizontally opposed twin. Depending on the airframe, may require some surgery to make it fit.
