If it counts, I once did 3D with a cub.....mounted the floats to a Gp cub at clear lake event. Sucker took off and went straight vertical to a hover. "apparently" one must re-balance planes after floats are bolted on! Rookie move on my part, but I got it down safe.

Go figure
