Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I own different types of engines from DLE to MVVS. I compare 50cc together. Not an 80cc to a 58 because they both have single cylinders and say the 80cc is a porker and the 58 can turn the same prop with a tuned pipe. I will say my 60 is lighter than the 58 and turns the same prop without a tuned pipe. The 58 is smoother running than the 60. Apples to apples. Lol.

Maybe I have blinders. I don't know.

Yes I do. In most industries they are required to go with the steel toe boots. Just a few rules you have to follow when leave the farm.

Yes.

There, hard to argue on that point.

But I see you watching, just waiting for me to get home. So what should we chat about this eve?
As for engines. It is my hobby, as yours, is yours. If I ogle over a desired engine for a long time. Set a goal around that same engine. Purchase an airframe, set it all up. These things fill my dreams. I am thrilled with my hobby, and it brings me joy.

Now do you want to step on the old mans dream? Of course not. So, I wish to you. An enjoyable dream/goal in our hobby.

And if that's not enough. My Apple can kick the turds out of your Oranges!

Well the big Comp ARF is loaded in the back of the minivan. Really looking forward to a handshack type visit with Jack come Saturday morning.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Bradley, one more aspect of my hobby that brings me joy.
Hearing that your Apples beat the steam out of his Oranges.
Carry on Bradley.
Hanes, I see you are about to have yet another very enjoyable evening.

Everybody's friend,
