As long as we keep one of thes "Chat" type threads going. It could help with the de-railing that was getting somewhat out of hand on some serious questions/inquirers in check.

Yes, and go back and dig up any relevant info. Chat chatter falls off the server regularly

But our famous Canadian derailments are what make all of our threads fun and light hearted.
Not to mention the entertainment and talk of Non Canadian forums
They just cant seem to wrap their heads around the fact that we devolve into what happens on other forum threads..... Cough...FG ..Cough

So how about what are the pros and cons of each brand?

DA engines

Pro:
Shiny oooooohhhhhhh so shiny.
Good performance
Easy tuning
User friendly
Excellent support
Excellent warranty
Excellent aftermarket support (headers etc)
Reliable
Light weight
Carbs have factory installed RC use arms
The standard that others are judged against
Parts pricing is actually rather good.
Long life

Con:
Slightly costly but you get what you pay for
Shiny ooooooohhhhh so shiny (don't want to put the cowl on)
Not always the most powerful or the smoothest but have you noticed how everyone compares their engine to a DA as to power and smoothness?
Agreed Doug,,,,some hate them though. But they have done a lot in the sense everyone tries to be as good or better. Out of that comes the much improved Ct engines. Far as European engine makers, I really think they care less about DA or Ct!
