Yeah that's one worth thinking about for sure, thanks, no power pulses to worry about on an electric though so it might not be a problem.

Cory, I believe the electrics are worse than gas or glow, you push that gimbal and you have the potential for maximum torque. Don't you?

Yes, you're right the torque is quite high. I'd be surprised if it isn't still much less than the peak of a power pulse though (since the average torques are often similar at certain rpm) but I've been surprised before.

That torque seems instant on an electric, but I think if speed controls didn't have a certain amount of "soft start" built into the throttle response the current spike's would fry them pretty well immediately. I know castle creations controllers throttle response can be adjusted in the software.

Could be Cory, I haven't played with anything bigger than a 60Amp ESC. The "Brake" function could bite ya too though! Sometime you just never know until ya fly it!
