Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Jack,

I have a freind here interested in the MVVS 190 Quad but can't find much info on anyone having run it.

He's looking to build a Carden Pro and want's to stick one in it. I tried to convince him to go with a DA150L or ZDZ180 but he's got his heart set on a quad and since the DA200 is unavailaable he's looking at this.

One left at Chief but it's a lot of coin to drop on an unknown engine. He wisely WON'T touch a DLE222!

Did you get yours yet and is it making it's way East anytime soon?

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Jim,

I don't think there is an abundance of info on the 190. Mine is #03 so that pretty much says it all. It is pricey but it comes with the headers included. Outer workmanship is top notch and I expect inside the crankcase is the same. ignitions weigh a ton but could be replaced with RCEXL if one wished.

I do have mine but it hasn't run yet. I'm not sure if it'll make it east for testing. I need to get it fitted and shrouded in the plane. I am planning on mounting to my stand (I hope) sometime soon.

There's only one video of it that I know of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aF7jLm0qWU

Yes I agree Brad. But a person can really see the torque in his flight.

Who's he gonna race..looks as though all the Ct runners packed it in!

Hmmmmmmmmm

My DA170 can beat that any day but this quad probably wins in the torque dept.
