If this thing sells, the gear will go into a Python. That Beast is too flashy for me... Allows for too much expectations from the crowd...

LOL ... the python is a very nice flyer. I found the beast a little lighter on the wing loading/ Hotter 3d but not by much.
My Python has a smooth DA100L... just enough power.

My Beast has a nasty shaking firebreathing DA120... and its GREAT!
The power difference makes these 2 birds totally different animals..

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

My slick is awesome flyer. It will get large smooth pipes in jan. My smooth pipes are great on my 60 so my 176 will get a pair of large ones.

to land on less runway move cg to back of wing tube. Nothing slows a plane down more than dragging the tail. I need to land with 3 clicks of throttle on my big slick and it now takes about 1/2 of our 550 ft runway to land. Thing is I am going to move the cg back even more with the smooth pipes but it will fly great anyway

Jack, I thought this would be about as easy as it get's. Old School Wingus, & Dingus, demonstrating Torque, verses the latest/greatest Hype. (insert anyone from the Mafia on the shiny new tractor).

Thank-you to my flying buddy that works at the A&W.
