Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I have a question.
I enjoy the rotary induction provided on my ZDZ's. Now the O.S. gassers are also a rotary induction. How are guy's finding/enjoying these now that they have been flying for 3 yrs or more?

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I only know one guy that bought an OS gasser. And it wasn't flown much.
Not sure there were many sold in Canada

I had one gt33 had about 25 flights on it had good power but the muffler kept coming loose. It was still running good when I sold it.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I know of a 55 that a friend flies. He was very busy this past flying season, didn't hear anything negative about it. Others have the smaller 33cc. All seem pleased. I think one of the 2 33's had one deadstick landing. Un-eventfull. Those are not always caused by the engine itself. Now their 60cc offering, I expect more locally next year.

Brodie, I fixed that for Dwayne one week-end last fall. He seems happy that it will stay on. Worked for the remainder of his season.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Their a little to much $$$$ but I do like no bolts easy to switch out a prop with no drilling.
