Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Brad, can you take a rotary tool and relieve the wood some, that is in the way? I would then place a 2" (or so) piece of fuel line to a filter, or piece of tubing (coupling). For serviceability.
Just got home. Will crawl into the dungeon, and take a look at some of my ZDZ carbs. See if I would attempt to turn, or not (heat may be your friend here).

The brass fuel nipple is in a bad spot.
You can see it is lined up with the firewall and the fuel tubing would have to make a sharp bend against the wood.
Can this brass tube be rotated ? With fear of it coming loose later or sucking air ?
Absolutely!! No issues at all. I did the same to mine and just rotated Brad's on his EME120, which was backwards. They are just pressed in

Here you go Brad, on Trevors request.
Not liking this Windows 8 yet.

Although it is simply a Walbro from a grass whip, or what have you. I would think it is the same fuel inlet. "Nipple". That ought to get Ket (or more ) started.

Balls Bradley. Just crank on it, especially if some one else owns it!

Trevor, just forecast a dead stick for Bradley. Your off the hook. Better yet, you can say, "I told you" . . . . so.

ROTFL!! Exactly Dale

No worries Brad... I always tweak the position on all my motors - even the nipples that are plastic. But it was a nice feeling knowing it wasn't mine, LOL! J/K of course
