So should I put some sealant on this fuel nipple before I re-install it in Arlenes leaf blower?

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Just to clarify... My comment "exactly" was not about Brad getting balls, LOL!! Dale... If you saw the way he drove a golf cart and tweaked the govener at Nall, you'd take that back, LOL.

As for the leafblower... You'd better hope Arlene doesn't have a deadstick or you'll have to finish up, LOL

Laddie's I need to crank on someone.
Picture a 9yr old boy that just found a sharp stick. What good can come of that.
"Dale, put that stick down", yes Mom. The other side of my sister, of course.

At least I turned out to be a nice, friendly guy.

The brass fuel nipple is in a bad spot.
You can see it is lined up with the firewall and the fuel tubing would have to make a sharp bend against the wood.
Can this brass tube be rotated ? With fear of it coming loose later or sucking air ?
Brad just grab it with a pair of pliers and twist it back and forth and pull it out.
Replace it with a Walbro barbed fuel nipple.

Any place that sells Walbro part will have them, here is one at Great Hobbies.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

If I can just rotate it a little, I will be happy.
The blue fuel line I am going to use will not come off the brass tube. I don't even need to clamp onto the brass tube. Once that blue stuff is on for an hour. You have to cut it off LOL

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I am liking the blue so far. Seems to stand up better even though it does start out a little stiffer.
