Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Holy cow... I don't check in for 3hr, and it takes me 1hr to catch up!!!

Sooo pumped about the GP123 news!! Mine has been a monster from day 1 and embarrases the DA120 and never coughed or sputtered once and now I'm gonna get a V2??!!... Christmas came early in the East

And Doug... On a light loaded prop, the DA200 will spin better top end numbers than the 180 on cans or muffs. Put the 180 on pipes and it's a Ferrari. But go to something worthwhile like a 31x12W or 32x12 and that poor DA200 really shows it's age! And the big-jugged 180 has torque that only the Mintor220 and 3W220cs can match.

There... Pheeew... All caught up, LOL

Are you saying your getting a V2 before Christmas?

Wow, you guy's are good. The Canadian Distributor has not even commented on the subject yet.

But we can expect something, I'm sure come business hours in Canada.

This is all hype from the excited States. No word from Canadian authorities yet.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Oh - and Doug... on top of insane performance of the ZDZ180, you carry around a LOT less weight than a DA200L!!! Ask Brad the difference in feel of his plane going from a quad to the 180 and shedding all that weight!! - HUGE!

Mix in better torque and pull on a lighter plane... WOW

The DA200 is a great motor, but it's all about reference and when you fly the 180, it'll make you giggle like a school girl

Before it was up to temp it was well over 6600. The prop was screaming like a banshee.

If you want to know how that sounds grab Jeff by the jewels and squeeze real hard.
That would start with a hi pitch scream. A sharp pain on the side of ones head. Followed very closely with black tunnel vision. I hope this is nothing like your DA engine runs. It sound more like a GP with a lean cylinder issue. LoL

Lmao Jeff

Well I just made someone a real cool deal on a 3W210TSCS complete with headers, cans, mufflers, 5 props, and some other stuff.

I'll let said person reveal himself when he wants. It is going towards a real cool project.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

So why did you opt for the MVVS195 Quad over a ZDZ180 for you upcoming Carden 43% Extra 260 build?

I thought QUADS were EVIL!
