Tighter bearings will usually fix the timing problem.

Make sense boys??
"What Engine"
"The eme 60.
Some engines came with the timing way too far advanced. This causes backfiring and pre-detonation. This pre-detonation / backfiring is hard on the con-rod bearings. The con-rod bearings were not as tight as they should have been to begin with. Those individuals with slop in the con-rod bearings can get the crank and con-rod's replaced by sending in there old crank.

They now have a tighter specked bearing."

Should read what I right sometimes LOL
Is that better Jack

I was cold.
The utility had a scheduled power outage today (at home). When I got home, the Beagle K.C. had the electric fireplace turned on for the holiday's. He is going to get extra points for that.

Thank-you Lorne. You put out a lot of effort, and expense to host these events. I will be there.

I feel great. I'm getting pumped about my 160. Spent some time watching both your 180 Edge, and Andy's 160 Edge. Great thrust. I came up with a good idea to try on my Sukhoi, I think. But need to look at it first.
