Sounds like we need the "Nebraska Tests" for RC Engines! Oh wait. Most on here wouldn't know what the Nebraska Tests are!

Well, with what your LOC looks to be, I'd say you're a farmer..

Asked what was in....didn't have a clue he said!

Asked if they brought in headers for the engines...aahhhhhhh...nope....but I don't know what's coming in the next order!!

I mentioned awhile back on FG about engines...The gent from Chief came on (Don I think and he was a bit rude), give us a call as the website doesn't really reflect what we have..quite obvious the staff there doesn't care and doesn't know....Neither does Don!!!!

I will move to a European supplier, enough of the B.S. a guy gets!!
Sounds like acquiring a super motor is a bit of a task. Imagine trying to get parts or service? Buy local and you won't have a problem. Get off your high horse and give a chint a chance........

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

LOL Yup a Plough Puller. At least Jack understands the term "Torque Curve".

That's why I put a link to a dyno in earlier in this thread. While I appreciate the work a few have done here on testing engines, my gut is tellin' me they may have been missing some really important data.

The Nebraska Test for tractors wasn't really an earth shattering test, really kind of simple, but it did compare apples-to-apples. Until someone steps up and uses some sort of protocol, RC plane engine testing is gonna be more of a gut reaction rather than fact!

How scientific do you want to get with a toy plane engine? In the end we are gonna use what feels the best at the sticks.

Power Band?? My engine has dual power band
