How about standardizing the bolt pattern for mounting the engine. Bet ya some guys have firewalls that look like Swiss cheese, eh Trevor, Brad!!!!

The rod in question, was in fact a GP engine (Tiawan). I was reading the thread trying to catch up. As I read 2 pages, the thread grew yet another page. Hate to think how long it is now.
As for GP, or DA engines. I have both brands, and they do all I ask of them, well. I feel my money is working well in bringing me joy.

Well i opened my new (used) GP88EVO tonight, to see what i have hidden in there. I have a con rod that has had letters ground off, just like on FG!!!
