All engines should be set at 28 degrees from the factory. Some retard the timing a few degrees when they install a pipe.

But if Pro-RC is suggesting, they will know more than me about GP engines.
Didn't use the the proper engine jargen retard not advance and 26 sounds better lol

I think Lorne is getting confused with the EME engine. The Early EME's came in with the ignitions way to far advance.

Your GP should be fine. Fuel Flip and Fly!! Don't worry about the ignition

We retarded my eme 60 had a lot of backfiring. Nothing since we played with the timing.
